ACORN AND SNAKE
NATURE HEALING
Helping Mother Earth and Nature to heal, take back it's wild borders, and to live in harmony and balance with humans through shamanic practice.

A few years ago I started working with the spirit guides at a local park called Patriot’s Park. I would hum, chant, and shake a rattle as I walked through the park several times a week. As I did so I would also pick up any trash that I could find. I prayed and offered blessings to the nature spirits that humans and nature would live in harmony and balance with one another and that the nature spirits of the land would take back its wild borders. As I did all this I experienced the sightings of so many different types of birds that I had never seen in the area before. One evening, I decided to meditate at dusk. As things quieted down and was getting almost too dark to see I heard and felt a great rushing and fluttering of wings. I quickly turned around and, to my delight and surprise, I couldn’t see anything. Through this process I was giving little gifts and signs from the local nature spirits such as shells, jewelry and feathers. Fast forward to the present and the Downers Grove Park District is now installing several areas of natural native plantings all around the pond.
My passion is to be out in nature and connect with Mother Earth. As a kid my favorite past time was exploring the natural world in my backyard and neighborhood. I would catch bugs, climb trees, and dig holes. I felt most at home in the woods observing the plants and animals. Some of my favorite creatures were (and still are) oak trees, garter snakes, dandelions, and grasshoppers. Now, I understand the importance of being connected with nature as we ourselves are a part of nature. I hope that spreading the understanding that we are inter-connected that we can help to restore our planet and bring a deep awareness and respect to our relationship with this planet that we live on. For far too long have humans treated Mother Earth and nature with disregard and have demonized the wilderness as something to be feared and controlled. It’s time to embrace it! For my part, I intend to do what I can to live a shamanic lifestyle that fosters impartiality and respect to all living things.
What do I mean by I offer nature healing services? I will go to a part of the land and do a shamanic journey to listen to the nature spirits to uncover what its needs are. During this journey I will also identify any negative energy that may need to be extracted and I will invite in loving spirits to the land for healing, harmony, and rebalancing. I will do a ceremony to pray and bless the land and make an offering of gratitude. I do not charge money for this service, however, some sort of energetic exchange is always relevant and powerful. This could be anything such as a prayer of gratitude, a bundle of flowers, or even just a candy bar (let’s face it I have a sweet tooth). I also ask that travel expenses be covered. Message me for more information and to set up a time for me to work with the land and the nature that needs help.
Example of a Nature healing:
A couple of weeks ago I was walking at my local park and I saw one of the trees had been cut into pieces. It looked like it had been blown over in the wind and the roots looked like they had been pulled up. I came back a couple of weeks later to find that it had all been shredded into tiny bits so I sat in the saw dust and did a journey.
My journey to help heal nature: "I sink into the earth. I go down through layers of times and scenes. I am ripped apart piece by piece until my body is blown away as dust and then I am just consciousness. I keep going down. I stall in the darkness feeling the soil in my hands. I watch as a pulsing glow emanates through the soil. Bubbling up are plants and trees. The golden light nurtures the soil and plants and helps them to grow rapidly. Dragon takes me now and I go further down. To the deep deep ancient beginnings of Earth. I see the different layers of Earth and how different climates and situations create different types of soil and the layers of time are all different. I see the layer we are creating now as a big mess of litter and plastic and dead soil. The earth as it is now is choking with pollutants and is lacking nutrients for the natural world. The rain and the water can’t replenish this nutrient poor earth. It’s starving and choking. Human’s disregard for the Earth creates anger from within the natural world. What can I do? I can bring others attention to this as much as possible. I can respect the earth by visualizing the glowing pulsing golden light through my hands into the soil. I can listen. I can clean up what I can clean. I can give thanks.”
This is a channelled message from the chopped up tree: “This story can be rooted in the trees. Recorded by the leaves that turn into dust. We are the forever. We are the here and now. My story of time has come to an end in this now but I still love on. Feel the earth beneath me. My memory is captured in the Earth that belongs to me. I belong to it. Forgiveness is unnecessary for all is forgiven in the end. Roots of belonging are the seeds of memory. Bring awareness to humanity of the deeds of the trees and the order of oneness. We are all and everything. No ones escapes this in the end. For there is no end. Only belonging in one way shape or form. Beauty is in everything. Even in this state I am beautiful.”
